Turkey builds wall to prevent illegal border crossings — — -Brussels (Brussels Morning) Turkish officials noted that the country has constructed 156 kilometres of wall along the border with Iran and added that an additional 90 or so kilometres will be built.

Turkish President Recep Erdoğan previously announced plans to put a “complete stop” to illegal border crossings in response to hardening domestic public opinion on migrants, according to RFI reporting on Wednesday.
