EU welcomes Ukraine’s anti-corruption efforts — — -Brussels (Brussels Morning) The EU has welcomed Ukraine’s anti-corruption drive as the country took measures to strengthen and ensure the independence of its National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU).
The Ukrainian parliament passed legislation on Tuesday to boost NABU’s independence, a stipulation the International Monetary Fund (IMF) set as a requirement for securing more loans, Reuters reported.
